Utah Business magazine asked all members of the Utah State Bar to answer the following question: “Of the Utah lawyers you have worked with first‑hand, whom would you rate the best in each of 12 categories?” The January issue of the publication published the Top 100 Legal Elite based on the results of the survey. The Utah Supreme Court appointed Parr Waddoups lawyer Ronald Russell to serve on the Judicial Conduct Commission. The commission investigates and makes recommendations regarding allegations of misconduct by state judges. Mr. Russell is filling a term formerly held by Gayle McKeachnie, who resigned from the commission after being appointed lieutenant governor. His term ends June 30, 2004.
