Matthew Dorny has extensive experience in advising clients in corporate governance matters, corporate finance, contract negotiations, corporate transactions, debt financing, corporate compliance, marketing and consumer practices, and mergers and acquisitions. Matthew utilizes his accounting background, executive management experience and 30 years of legal experience in helping clients address their legal needs.
Matthew also has experience in the direct selling, personal care and nutrition industries, as well as international legal matters having served as General Counsel for Nu Skin Enterprises, a beauty and wellness company that conducted business in nearly 50 markets, for 18 years. Matthew was also a member of Nu Skin’s executive management committee for nearly 15 years. During his time at Nu Skin Matthew advised the company on a range of transactions and legal issues including a $750 million credit facility and term loan, a $210 million offering of senior convertible notes, a $100 million secondary offering of securities, and multiple acquisitions.
Matthew graduated from the University of Utah with JD and MBA degrees in 1991, and has served as the Vice Chair and Chair of the Business Law Section of the Utah Bar. He also served as the Chair of the General Counsel Committee of the US Direct Selling Association.
