Amy Rose practices in the firm’s Real Estate and Tax & Estate Planning Sections. Ms. Rose received her B.S. in Psychology and B.S. in Sociology, summa cum laude, in 2010 from the University of Utah. She also received her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah in 2012. She earned her J.D. from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law, Highest Honors, Order of the Coif, where she was an Associate Articles Editor for the Utah Law Review, President of the Family Law Society, a Research Assistant at the S. J. Quinney Law Library, and a member of the Negotiation Team. She was also a William H. Leary Scholar and the recipient of several CALI and Outstanding Achievement Awards, as well as the David T. Lewis Clinical Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Clinical Program.

Before joining Parr Brown, Ms. Rose gained a broad range of experience in several law firms in Salt Lake City, working since 1997 as a paralegal and in firm administration. After graduate school, she spent three years as a school counselor and adjunct psychology professor before returning to her first love—the law. During law school, she served internships with the Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake Domestic Violence Victims Assistance program, Open Legal Services, the Honorable Keith A. Kelly of the Third District Court in Salt Lake County, and the Honorable Christine M. Durham of the Utah Supreme Court.

When not practicing law, Ms. Rose can be found road-tripping with her family, bowling with her friends, riding horses, reading, or working in her yard.
