Matthew Wright is a member of the firm’s business, finance and corporate transactions groups, with an emphasis on corporate and securities matters and finance transactions, including public and private capital markets transactions (debt and equity), acquisition finance, secured and unsecured leveraged finance, asset-based finance, public company compliance, corporate governance, private mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Mr. Wright’s capital markets experience includes IPOs, secondary offerings and a variety of structured and high-yield debt, hybrid capital and convertible securities. Mr. Wright has represented numerous corporate and bank clients in the United States and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr. Wright received his law degree in 2009, graduating magna cum laude from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he served on the editorial board of the BYU Law Review. He also received a B.A. degree in Economics and English Literature, magna cum laude, from Utah State University in 2006.

Prior to joining Parr Brown, Mr. Wright practiced law for nearly three years at Sullivan & Cromwell in Sydney, Australia, and for three and a half years at Linklaters in Hong Kong, China. After graduating from law school, Mr. Wright clerked for the Honorable Donald F. Parsons on the Delaware Court of Chancery in Wilmington, Delaware.
