Practice Areas

About Chase Wilde

Chase Wilde maintains a broad and dynamic legal practice, shaped by experience across multiple disciplines and court systems. His versatility allows him to approach complex legal issues with creativity, practicality, and an understanding of how different areas of law intersect. Whether advocating in a courtroom or advising in the boardroom, Chase brings an entrepreneurial mindset and strategic focus to every matter he handles.

Chase’s practice spans a wide range of legal areas, including:

  • Commercial Litigation – representing businesses and individuals in breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, fraud claims, and other high-stakes conflicts;
  • Appellate Advocacy – briefing and arguing appeals in both state and federal courts;
  • Personal Injury – with experience on both sides: advocating for individuals in serious injury cases and defending against personal-injury suits;
  • Business, Employment, and Transactional Law – advising entrepreneurs and companies on governance, formation, and deal work;
  • Class Action Defense – defending businesses in complex, multi-party litigation;
  • Criminal Defense – representing clients in state and federal criminal matters;
  • Guardianship and Conservatorship – helping families navigate sensitive protective proceedings;
  • Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Law – guiding intended parents and gestational carriers through the legal landscape of IVF, surrogacy, and gamete donation.

Chase has appeared before a wide array of tribunals, including state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels, bankruptcy court, administrative tribunals, and even juvenile court.

He earned his J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he was president of the Student Bar Association, a member of the Utah Law Review, and a national moot court competitor. He later clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Utah Court of Appeals, and began his career at a multi-state law firm.

Outside of work, Chase enjoys landscaping, home improvement, baking, reading good books, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
