Chaunceton Bird is a member of Parr Brown’s commercial litigation team and specializes in construction law and product liability. Chaunceton was selected as a Super Lawyers Mountain States Rising Star® in 2023 and 2024 and was included in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch®, 2024 and 2025 Edition.
He has experience litigating a broad range of commercial disputes in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. His practice includes work for local and national clients in the construction and manufacturing sectors, including builders, general contractors, utility providers, vehicle manufacturers, car dealerships, and motorcycle retailers. Chaunceton commonly defends his clients against allegations of construction defects, product defects, premises liability, breach of warranty, and claims arising under Utah’s Lemon Law. He also represents manufacturers of worker safety equipment (particularly masks and respirators), consumer goods, and component parts.
Before joining Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, Chaunceton was a judicial law clerk for Justice Paige Petersen of the Utah Supreme Court (2017–2019), and a judicial intern for Justice Deno Himonas of the Utah Supreme Court (2015).
