Jim Wright practices in the areas of real estate, land use and zoning, eminent domain, and construction law. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2005, and he received a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 2002.
Prior to joining Parr Brown, Jim practiced with the international law firm of O’Melveny & Myers, and with the Office of the Property Rights Ombudsman. In addition to his general transactional real estate and construction law experience, he has extensive experience in mediating eminent domain and unconstitutional takings claims. Jim is also well versed in advising private property owners and governments on applicable property rights laws. He has been recognized in 2024 edition of Best Lawyers in America ® for land use and zoning law and real estate law.
