Kody is a member of the firm’s business and finance groups. He practices in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate.
Kody earned his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2022, where he graduated cum laude and was an associate editor of the BYU Law Review. During law school, Kody participated in many programs, most notably the BYU Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic, in which he assisted start-ups and early-stage organizations overcome numerous legal hurdles. Prior to law school, he received his B.S. in Neuroscience, cum laude, with a minor in chemistry from Brigham Young University.
Outside of practicing law, Kody is a passionate Utah sports fan who has written on various legal issues relating to professional sports leagues in the United States and Europe. He also enjoys reading, running, and snowboarding.
