Andrew Collins practices in the firm’s civil litigation group. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings and mediations. Mr. Collins has substantial experience in all aspects of commercial litigation representing both defendants and plaintiffs from initial consultation through final resolution in settlement, dismissal, trial, or appeal.
Focusing on commercial litigation, Mr. Collins has represented clients in a wide range of matters, including breaches of contract, class actions, misappropriation of trade secrets, commercial torts, securities claims, violation of restrictive covenants, receiverships, and partnership disputes. Drawing on his litigation experience, Mr. Collins also advises clients on proactive steps that they can take to avoid disputes and minimize future risks.
Mr. Collins graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in economics. He received his juris doctorate from Brigham Young University, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Law Review.
