W. Ash McMurray

Ash McMurray is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Entertainment Law, and Immigration Law practice groups. As a member of Parr Brown’s Litigation Section, Ash has represented clients in complex commercial litigation involving a variety of matters in both state and federal court.

As a member of the firm’s Entertainment Law practice, which is described in more detail at lawyersforentertainers.com, Ash has represented entertainers, artists, and authors on various deals and projects ranging throughout television, film, music, and book publishing industries.

Ash also has expertise in business immigration law and has assisted clients in preparing nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, including H-1B, H-2A, H-2B visas and green card applications.

Prior to joining Parr Brown, Ash was Deputy General Counsel at the Utah Governor’s Office where he served as legal advisor to Governor Gary R. Herbert and Governor Spencer J. Cox on matters including executive actions, legislative bills, government records, administrative rules, and State-Tribe matters.

Ash earned his J.D. in 2018 from the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the BYU Law Review.
