Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that Kevin G. Heiner joined the firm as an associate in the litigation practice group. Mr. Heiner earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2018, where he was a Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review and a member of the Tenants’ Rights Project. He received his B.S. in Psychology and Minors in Chemistry and Sociology from the University of Utah. Prior to joining the firm, Kevin served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Robert J. Shelby of the United States District Court for the District of Utah and

Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that Emma W. Balls joined the firm as an associate in the business and finance practice group. Ms. Balls also practices in the areas of corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property. In 2020 she earned her J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif from J. Reuben Clark Law School, where she was a Lead Note and Comment Editor of the BYU Law Review.  Prior to law school, Ms. Balls received a B.S. in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology from the University of Utah in 2017.

Mr. Tanner is a member of Parr Brown’s Business and Finance, Real Estate, and Bankruptcy, Workouts and Creditors’ Rights groups. He counsels clients on loan and collateral structuring, workout, and bankruptcy issues. His work includes commercial and industrial loans, equipment and real estate financing, agricultural loans, and aircraft security interests. Skyler has extensive experience negotiating and documenting secured financing transactions, including revolving credit, term credit and syndicated credit facilities for banks and other lenders. Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that Jonathan C. Williams joined the firm as an associate in the litigation practice group. In 2016, Jonathan earned his J.D., from the University of Utah, S. J. Quinney College of Law, high honors. In 2013, Jonathan received his M.A., in Comparative Literature, and in 2010, he received his B.A. from Brigham Young University. Since graduating law school, Jonathan clerked for Judge David Nuffer, United States District Court, District of Utah. Prior to joining Parr Brown, Jonathan worked at the Salt Lake City office of Dorsey & Whitney.
