Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that Dane R. Johansen joined the firm as a shareholder in the Business and Finance sections.
Mr. Johansen received his Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, his LL.M. degree in Chinese Law from Peking University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese (business minor) from Brigham Young University.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Johansen worked for leading U.S. and British law firms (inter alia, Paul Hastings and Allen & Overy) in Hong Kong. Mr. Johansen also seconded with the asset management division of a major U.S. investment bank (JP Morgan) focused on fund formation and investment matters for infrastructure and real estate funds with investments in Australia, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, mainland China, India, Singapore and other Asia-Pacific locations.
Mr. Johansen has over a decade of experience advising on large, multi-national securities offering, merger and acquisition and fund formation and investment matters as well as advising on reporting obligations (U.S. SEC and Hong Kong Stock Exchange) and general corporate matters.
