Daniel A. Jensen Named as New President of Parr Brown
The law firm of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that
Daniel A. Jensen
has been selected as president of the firm. Each April, the firm’s management succession plan identifies a new, qualified attorney to serve as President. Mr. Jensen has served as firm secretary for the past year and will serve as president until April 1, 2015. “I am honored to work with such a highly-talented group of lawyers all focused on creating positive outcomes for our clients,” said Jensen.Mr. Jensen has been practicing natural resources law since 1988 focusing on helping clients with water, mining, oil and gas, public land and administrative law matters. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah and spent three years as a mining engineer for Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas and Springfield, Illinois. He received his law degree, Order of the Coif, from the University of Utah. Mr. Jensen has served as Chair of the Utah State Bar’s Energy, Natural Resources and Environmental Law Section as well as Chair of the Water Law Committee and Chair of the Mining Law Committee within that section. He also has been an adjunct professor at both of Utah’s law schools.Mr. Jensen has been continually recognized for his experience in Energy and Natural Resources Law by
