Parr Brown Gee & Loveless (www.parrbrown.com) today announced the hiring of Laura Kennedyas an associate lawyer in the firm.
Kennedy comes to Parr Brown with more than 15 years of experience in clerkships with the United States District Court, Utah Supreme Court and Utah Court of Appeals. During this time, she developed a keen insight into the workings of the court system through her experience managing cases, conducting research and drafting decisions for judges.
“As a judicial law clerk I was able to observe many different proceedings from the perspective of the court and see many different lawyers present their arguments,” said Kennedy. “I am eager to practice on the other side of the bench now and implement what I have learned. I have seen the respect and reputation Parr Brown has in the legal community, and I appreciate the confidence they are placing in me.”
Kennedy received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. She is a member of the Board of Trustees and vice president for Take Heart International, a non-profit organization that helps provide education for children in Zambia.
