Collins recently returned to the firm after serving three-years as a Mission President for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission.

As a veteran attorney, Collins is experienced in many areas of the law and is regularly recognized for his skill by his peers. He joined Parr Brown in 1988, and has built a significant tax and estate planning practice. In addition to his experience with tax and estate planning, Collins is expert in the field of aviation law, having worked as in-house General Counsel for Morris Air. He has received numerous awards for his area of legal expertise and has been recognized consistently in Best Lawyers in America, Mountain States Super Lawyers, and Utah Business magazine’s “Legal Elite.” In addition to his legal practice, Collins has taught classes at Brigham Young University on the subjects of wills, trusts and estate planning. He has served as a Chair of the Tax Section of the Utah State Bar, is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Council.
