Today members of the law firm of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless (www.parrbrown.com) electedStephen E. W. Hale as president of the firm. Hale succeeds Heidi E. C. While employed by the firm he has represented clients with a wide range of legal issues, in a verity of industries including construction, commercial and residential development, telecommunications, heavy and light manufacturing, and banking. He approaches his job with a business perspective that he acquired from his work experience and education. He received a license to practice as a certified public accountant from the State of Utah in 1984. Prior to practicing law, he was employed as a CPA for several years with the international accounting firm then known as Ernst & Whinney, where he was engaged in providing auditing and management consulting services. Hale graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, a Masters in Business Administration in 1983, and Juris Doctor,Order of the Coif. Hale has been recognized every year since 2007 in the Best Lawyers in America lists for commercial litigation and construction law. He was named one of the top general commercial litigation lawyers in Utah in the 2010-2012 editions of Chambers USA-America’s Leading Business Lawyers, and was listed in the 2009-2012 editions of Mountain States Super Lawyers. He has also been consistently listed as one of Utah Business magazine’s Legal Elite since the program’s inception.
