Terry E. Welch Named President of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless

The law firm of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that trial and litigation attorney, Terry E. Welch, has been selected as president of the firm.  Each April, the firm’s management succession plan identifies a new, qualified attorney to serve as president. Mr. Welch has served as firm secretary for the past year and will now serve as president.  “Parr Brown is truly unique among law firms both in the way we govern ourselves (democratically), and the uniformly top-talent we recruit and retain.  It truly is an honor to be associated with such a fine group of lawyers who also are genuinely good people of varying backgrounds, interest and unparalleled accomplishment,” noted Welch. Terry Welch is a member of the firm’s litigation group, specializing in intellectual property, patent, trademark and complex commercial litigation.  In addition to his broad commercial experience, he also heads the Firm’s Tragic, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death practice.  He was appointed by the Utah Supreme Court to Utah’s Judicial Conduct Commission where he has served, as one of two such appointed attorneys, the past several years.  Welch serves on the Board of Advisors for Doc Warner’s Alaska Fishing. He also is a member of the National Patent Litigation Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and recently was appointed to serve on AIPLA’s subcommittee for rules revision.
