Walter earned his law degree from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law where he graduated Order of the Coif with Highest Honors.  Walter served as the Note and Comment Editor for the Utah Law Review and received CALI awards in Contracts, Legal Methods, Bankruptcy, Commercial Law, Contract Drafting and Real Estate Transactions.
