Congratulations to Stephen Hale!
Steve has been named “Lawyer of the Year” by the Utah Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. The dinner and award ceremony were held at The Little America Hotel on April 17, 2025, attended by a large gathering of friends, family, colleagues, federal judges and peers. He was presented the award by one of his many mentees, Jennifer Tomchak of Tomchak Skolout.
This recognition celebrates Steve’s outstanding legal career. He has earned a reputation as a highly skilled litigator and leader in the legal community. His work in complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and appellate matters continues to make a lasting impact on our firm, and on the broader legal landscape in Utah and beyond. Steve is consistently recognized as one of Utah’s top lawyers by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America®, Mountain States Super Lawyers, and Utah Business magazine’s Legal Elite.
Steve’s dedication extends far beyond the courtroom. Whether they are at the start of their careers, or seasoned peers, attorneys at Parr Brown have always been able to count on Steve’s mentoring, support, and wisdom. We also know him through his dedication to his family and for his avid love of cycling throughout Utah’s great outdoors.
