Parr Brown Gee & Loveless is pleased to announce that four of its attorneys, Abbey Farnsworth, Adam Farnsworth, Chaunceton Bird, and W. Ash McMurray, have been promoted to shareholders.
Abbey Farnsworth is a member of the firm’s Tax, Probate, Estates and Trusts, and Business and Finance groups. Her practice focuses on domestic estate planning, administration, and charitable gift planning. She also has extensive experience in international income and transfer tax planning. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Adam Farnsworth is a member of the firm’s Tax and Business and Finance groups, where he focuses his practice on corporate and income tax planning involved in a variety of business transactions, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. He received his B.A. from Wagner College, his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Chaunceton Bird is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Services group. His practice is focused on a broad range of commercial disputes including products liability and mass torts. He has experience in issues involving worker safety equipment, vehicle manufacturing and dealerships, and asbestos litigation. He received his B.S. in Business Management from Utah Valley University and his J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney School of Law.
W. Ash McMurray is a member of the firm’s Entertainment Law, Commercial Litigation, and Business Immigration groups. He regularly represents clients in matters involving contract disputes, intellectual property, and media and first amendment issues. He also focuses his practice on representing entertainers, artists and authors on deals and projects, and has expertise in business immigration law. He received both his B.A. and his J.D. from Brigham Young University.
